Discovering the Maldives
A Guesthouse vacation is characterized by contact with real life in the Maldives. Upon arrival you will be taken on a tour of the village to learn about the places and people on the island. Each day our staff will take you on a different full-day or half-day dhoni excursion to discover the wonders of the atoll and nearby islands.
On day trips, lunch is prepared on board the dhoni by our cook and served on the beach, which is equipped with tents, seating and tables set up.
Destinations may also vary depending on guests’ interests, generally including desert islands such as Kandofushi, Fushifaru and Karandhuvaru, interesting snorkeling areas such as turtle point, nemo reef, life marine and coral garden, the sand tongue and natural pools at 5 minutes from Buruni Island.
These excursions are included in our offer, of course remaining optional.
There are also some extra excursions that can be purchased locally.
